Where Passion Meets Confection
Meet the Team Behind the Treats
Cara
Cara’s favorite color is red and she loves to bowl. She shares a great sense of humor and a love of bowling with her twin brother, Eddie. They still pick on each other like they did when they were younger. When you first meet her, she will ask you your favorite color and your birthday. Most likely she will remember these facts the next time you see her. Cara loves Pokemon and Animal Crossing, and if you are like-minded she can trade facts with you for hours. Cara likes dark chocolate the best, so the happiest days at work include making dark chocolate truffles.
Elizabeth
Elizabeth has been working for Moon Angel Sweets for two years measuring and rolling Brazillian-style chocolate brigadeiros. She also works part time as a Greeter at LuluLemon in the mall and volunteers weekly as an intern at Gigi’s Playhouse in Cary. When she’s not working, she enjoys walking her dog, helping around the house and attending classes at Gigi’s which include Handbells, Speech Therapy, GigiFit and Ukulele. She also loves travelling with her family.
Hannah
Hannah grew up in a beautiful small town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where she frequented the beach often in the summertime. From one venture to the next, she began her undergraduate career at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA where she met her husband. Hannah picked up a love for the mountains and hiking while attending school in the Shenandoah Valley and loves anytime she can get back to hike the trails she once did as a student. She then moved to Raleigh, NC to pursue a masters degree in social work. The decision to stay and grow roots in Raleigh was quite easy considering all that the town had to offer. One of Hannah’s favorite things about Raleigh is the diversity of culture, from trying different restaurants of all ethnic backgrounds to exploring festivals passing through. There’s truly something for everyone in Raleigh. One of the highlights Hannah has enjoyed since starting at Moon Angel Sweets in October 2023 is meeting and brainstorming with other small businesses to plan events to connect more deeply to the local community. If you have an idea that involves MAS, please reach out to Hannah and she’d love to see what she can do to make it happen.
